Lifehacker has an article on a creative use for binder clips, keep hanging folders from sliding.
By attaching some basic binder clips to his drawer’s folder rails, his folders are no longer victim to the forces of momentum, and files he wants to keep within quick reach stay that way.
They also have links to uses for your binder clips such as cable management and toothpaste tub maintenance.
So if you work in an office, or have a home office with a couple of hanging files, this is a great way of keep them near the front of the drawer - where you can reach them easier. Be sure to read the article because the comments have more great uses for binder clips.

I don’t even know what a Binder Clip even is.
I know what a Binder is.
I know what a Clip is.
I just come here to look at the pretty pictures and to talk to you, Sir It.
And I usually learn a thing, or two, in the process.
Maybe I should just go read the article.
I can use as many tips as I can get.
I appreciate all the attention I can get.
The article has a photo of a small binder clip on it, so if you are curious check it out.
Oh my God!
THAT’S a binder clip?
I always wondered what those were called…
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
Oh, if I only knew so many more things.
It really is such a battle.
Knowing what a Binder Clip is, though, finally, after all these years is helping.
Cos the next time I see one in action, I am going to stop and say, “That’s a Binder Clip, you know.”
Whoever is around will probably look at me weird.
“My friend, Jared, taught me that.”
And then I’ll smile.
[...] months ago we looked at using binder clips to hack your filing cabinet. Today the blog unclutter.com has a post on using binder clips as a substitute for a tickler file. [...]
I’m gonna have to go and read this article at some point.
A tickler file?
Oui.
